ERASMUS+ AL NURSERY CAMPUS!
Il Pistoia Nursery Campus è una struttura che si dedica alla formazione da vari punti di vista. Oltre ai corsi professionali e alle giornate di formazione, il Campus diventa luogo di apprendimento a 360 gradi aderendo volentieri ai programmi di scambio europei rimarcando così la vocazione internazionale della Vannucci Piante.
In quest’ottica il Nursery Campus ha deciso di ospitare 5 studenti provenienti dalla Provinciaal Instituut voor Technisch Onderwijs di Anversa (Belgio) nell’ambito del programma Erasmus +.
Abbiamo intervistato Xavier Geerolf, accompagnatore dei ragazzi, per scoprire qualcosa in più sulla loro scuola e sul programma di cui fanno parte. Xavier ha lavorato con questo tipo di programma di scambio (che prevede lo svolgimento di un lavoro per qualche settimana in un paese estero) per più di 10 anni. La scuola dei ragazzi, ci spiega, è una “secondary school” e quindi, secondo il sistema scolastico belga, un percorso formativo simile al nostro liceo ma che viene frequentato dai 13 ai 18 anni. Purtroppo, come ci spiega il professore, i ragazzi che decidono di prendere parte a questo programma sono ancora una minoranza perché essendo moto giovani non se la sentono di lasciare il proprio paese anche se per qualche settimana. Della loro scuola che conta 1400 studenti, solo in 14 hanno deciso di partire. Nonostante ciò, scopriamo che i ragazzi sono sempre molto soddisfatti dell’esperienza svolta e delle capacità pratiche che hanno potuto mettere a punto durante il loro lavoro all’interno del vivaio Vannucci, seguiti da tutor esperti e qualificati. Inoltre, ciò che preferiscono i ragazzi è la possibilità di socializzare e apprendere una nuova lingua. Infine, secondo quanto ci racconta Xavier, il Nursery Campus è per questi ragazzi una struttura di accoglienza di lusso! Solitamente i ragazzi che partono con questi programmi di scambio vengono ospitati in appartamenti o in strutture all’interno di scuole. Nel caso del Nursery Campus hanno invece a disposizione il ristorante per il pranzo, camere moderne e accessoriate e un bellissimo campo da calcio per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di lavoro!

ERASMUS AT NURSERY CAMPUS!
The Pistoia Nursery Campus is devoted to the training and education of professionals from various points of view. Besides the professional courses and the one-day training, the Campus becomes a learning environment at 360 degrees gladly joining the European exchange programs, emphasizing the international vocation of Vannucci Piante.
It is with this perspective that Nursery Campus has decided to host 5 students from the Provinciaal Instituut voor Technisch Onderwijs of Antwerpen (Belgium) as part of the Erasmus + program.
We interviewed Xavier Geerolf, the teacher which came with them to Italy, to find out something more about their school and their exchange program. Xavier has worked with this program (during which the students work for a few weeks in a foreign country) for over 10 years. The school, as he tells us, is a “secondary school” and according to the education system in Belgium it is similar to our high school, but it is from 13 to 18 years old. Unfortunately, as Xavier tells us, the students which decided to participate in this program are still a minority because since they are still very young, they do not feel ready to leave their country even if it is for only a few weeks. In their school which has about 1400 students, only 14 of them decided to take this step. However, we also find out that the students are always extremely satisfied of the experience and of the practical skills they had the chance to develop during their work at the Vannucci nursery, always supported by experienced and qualified trainers. Moreover, the students appreciate the chance to socialize and learn a new language. Finally, Xavier explains that the Nursery Campus is for these students a luxurious accommodation facility! Usually those who take part in these exchange programs stay in apartments or in rooms in schools’ premises. In Nursery Campus they have lunch in the restaurant, sleep in modern and accessorized rooms and can take advantage of an amazing football field to relax after a long day at work!
